Campro Drag Battle 2008 Round 1
First One Make Series Introduced

Round 1 of the Campro Drag that was held in conjunction with the Sepang Drag Battle attracted a total of 16 entries, a respectable figure for a first time event. As the cars were mainly Proton based production model, this one make race offers a fair platform for Proton models equipped with Campro engines to compete in a controlled event. This race is open to all makes equipped with Campro Normally Aspirated engine up to 1601cc displacement with a dry weight of 1150kg. Certain modifications are allowed on the cars, such as brakes, suspension, exhaust (provided it doesn't exceed 130db at 6000rpm), gearbox & ratio, engine ECU, body styling, open rim & tyre size (Racing Tires Are Not Permitted) and bucket seat...
