Surabaya Car Modification Scene

After Japan, Indonesia it seems is the country with the biggest market for modification and performance after-market parts and products in Asia. With this in mind it's no wonder that there are at least 1 - 2 auto salon shows being held every month throughout Indonesia.

These shows are made possible with sponsorships from the numerous manufacturer/distributors, all displaying their products, trying their best to capture a bigger share, in terms of sales from this highly lucrative market.

One such manufacturer is EP Tyres, an Indonesian tyres manufacturer. For the launch of their new high performance model - the Accelera, with a ZR rating, the company had sponsored a modification and performance show recently in Surabaya, aptly named 'ACCLELERA'.

For this event, a strong showing of 150 modified cars was present, with 3 that were so heavily modified that many would not have inkling as to which base model it is from. As with most motoring event, present were a bevy of beauties, all out to promote the products of the companies they were representing.
