Round 5 of the Formula PLUS Interclub Go Kart Championship saw the top teams in G1 going against each other till the final lap. Team Kei DCOM was the first to cross the finish line for the Sprint race and second in the Endurance race after an all out effort from team Radical 1 in securing the top podium finish.
Radical 2, the leading team in G1 was seen as a strong contender yet it was the day of the Kei DCOM. After round 5, only 1 point separating the top 2 teams, Radical 2 and Kei DCOM.
In the G2 category, team Radical Creation has managed to secure the top spot against 13 other teams. This round also saw two new teams, NS Karters and Faymeer having a brilliant race in mounting their challenge in G1. Radical Creation and NS Karters finished third in both races and the winner was decided based on the fastest laptime.
For your information, the Formula PLUS Interclub Go Kart Championship is held at the PLUS Speedway Go-Kart Circuit located at the southbound R&R near USJ. The organizer would like to invite entries from car clubs, corporate sporting clubs and also individual teams to join the event, which is held on the first Sunday of every month.
