PLUS Interclub Go-Kart Championship 2007
The PLUS Interclub Go-Kart Championship has entered the third year and for this year the event is
sponsored by Projek Lebuhraya Utara Selatan (PLUS) and Expressway Lingkaran Tengah in search of new
talents among local drivers.
Round 3 of the Formula PLUS Interclub Go-Kart Championship saw a 3-way battle for
the title ‘PLUS Cup Series’ champion both in the G1 and G2 categories. The Cup Series champion title
is an addition to the overall Formula PLUS IGKC champion title.
For G1, team from Daihatsu Charade Malaysia (KEI DCOCM) secured their first PLUS
Cup Series title while in G2, Team SHELL IT emerged as the PLUS Cup Series title after winning both
the sprint and endurance race. With both wins, SHELL IT is the third ever team after Mercedez 190e
club and Radical 1 to successfully collect full points for both races.
With the win, Kelab Daihatsu Charade Malaysia (KEI DCOCM) will be given the
opportunity to test drive a Super Compact racecar at Sepang circuit while Team SHELL IT will be
driving a much faster kart in G1 category.
