Nismoclub Autokhana Challenge 2009
The Nismoclub Community had recently, for the very first time organized a motorsport event for their members; the Nismoclub Autokhana Challenge at the R&R Shahpadu Highway, Klang. This event was specifically organized for club members to test and hone their driving skills through the hitch route in shortest time period and is strictly open to Nissan cars.
To achieve this, the organizer had cooperated with School of Advance Motoring Principles (SAMP) as technical advisory. Besides this they also received sponsorship and cooperation from several parties; Shahpadu Highway Sdn Bhd, PDRM, JPA3, Edaran Tan Chong Motors Sdn Bhd, Ultra Racing (M) Sdn Bhd, etc.
The competition was divided into four categories, which was according to engine type and capacity. The categories were N1 for NA 1600cc, N2 for above 1601cc, V category for NEO VVL engine and T category for turbocharged engine.
Spectators present were also treated with a drift demonstration by accomplished drifters, which comprises of members from the club itself, Team FX and Team Federal Tyre. The cars involved in the demonstration were 2 juicy Nissan Fairlady 350Z, a Sylvia S15 and Nissan Cefiro A31.
