KELAB AUTOSHOW @ Proton Centre Of Excellence


Kelab Autoshow together with Proton Berhad recently organised the ‘Protonmania Challenge’ at the Centre of Excellent (COE), located at Shah Alam on the 15th of April 2007. This Autoshow was specifically for owners of the Proton models. However, other competition such as the Audio I.C.E Cun Showdown and Car Split Fire Face-Off categories were opened to other makes and models of cars, this due to the lack of participant involved.

    Some of the clubs that were present to support the event was Antera Motorsports, KTS Motorsport, Rackless Motorsport, 3 Motorsports, SAVOC, ProCC, SPOC, Wise Community, just to name a few.. The turnout of the crowd was also spectacular as this event gave them a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with some of these ‘mean’ machines.

    Included in the programme of this event were the Malaysian Skilful Competition, Proton Skilful Competition, RC Competition, products sales and exhibition, and an air brush demonstration by BK Yap from Racing Art Studio. Another attraction of the event was the Stingray, a 1500cc motorcycle with a Proton engine.

    At the end, Jazman with his wide body Satria was crowned as ‘The King of Protonmania’.
