TOYOTA VIOS

While in Penang recently, we were introduced to a few car clubs by our newly appointed representative. One of the car clubs was the B1 Bodykit Club and based on the name one can imagine the concept. Heavily bodykitted cars of mixed make and models! That’s when we first saw this VIOS…

   We all know that the Toyota VIOS is a 4-door sedan powered by a 1.5-liter 1NZ-FE engine with VVT-i. The Inline 4-cylinder DOHC VVT-i 16V 1NZ-FE engine is known to be capable of producing approximately 109PS @ 6,000rpm and for such a small capacity engine, this figure is impressive indeed! The VIOS also comes in a turbo variant yet it is only made available in Thailand.

   O.K! Let us begin our tour de white VIOS. To be frank, this is definitely one of the best-looking VIOS I’ve ever seen since the VIOS model was introduced nearly 2 years ago. Although to some people this VIOS might be ‘complete’ yet for the owner, this is just the beginning of a long journey into the mod scene. Well, for the time being, this VIOS has completed the first stage in a makeover process, which obviously involves a lot of bodystyling work. That would mean additional bodykit! Hmmm… with such ‘first step’, I guess the owner who is an active member of the infamous B1 Bodykit Club can rest assured that he’s on the right path!
