Building a good audio system for SQ is no easy task as many factors need to be taken into consideration; the audio products of choice, a suitable platform, room capacity, tuners capabilities and experience, all of which are of utmost importance in ensuring that the end result is second to none. The judging of a SQ system is quite subjective as oppose to that of a SPL system, which can be determine by machines. SQ judging is based on the experienced and seasoned ears of the judges, and besides sound staging, clarity and power delivery from each frequency, the installation and setup are part of the judging process, whereby points are also awarded.

This featured Honda Civic is not an average ride with just any audio set-up; it is actually a couple of notches above the rest as it is a pure bred competitor in the audio competition arena, and had even made its way to the ‘Land of Smiles’ for an international car audio championship last year.
