BANGKOK MOTORSHOW 2009
The world-wide economic slowdown that is at present being felt in the motoring industry does not seems to be affecting those in the ‘Land of Smiles’, if it were to be gauge at the recently held Bangkok Motorshow 2009. The event which was held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) took up a total of three main halls, all packed to the brim with both exhibitors and visitors alike. Almost all the major players in the automotive industry were present, making their presence felt with huge exhibition space displaying their ‘wares’. Besides the Continental, Japanese and Korean makes and models of cars on display, our very own Proton cars were also present.
The area surrounding the exhibition centre was also fully utilized, with a hive of activities, lending a festive atmosphere to the entire event. The outdoor activities areas on the outside were allocated for various motoring related activities, from I.C.E systems, modded rides, car accessories and even a stage for live concert by popular Thai singers.
For all you guys that could not make it to this event, fret not, for we have more or less brought the event to your doorsteps via the images spread across these pages. Happy viewing!
